It’s been a week and a half since my work contract ended and I couldn’t be happier. My bond with this little birb gets stronger every day, and I love it. She’s so awesome.

Oh man, a coworker just tried a ton of really reasonable things to fix a problem and all of them failed. Then I came up with like one more reasonable thing he hadn't thought of and it worked. I feel both good and bad.

I'm so sleepy. I probably should have stayed home today, but then I would have had to use a sick day, which seems wasteful. On the other hand, I'm sleepy because I didn't go to sleep until 3am and that's because I couldn't make myself go to bed, which is an anxiety/depression symptom for me. If it had lasted until 4am, I would probably have taken the day, though.

Today at work hiding couple of invisible spinners improved performance from horrible to almost perfect.
Profile a lot and don't guess but don't trust any one tool completely.
